The Mix 1 line of shakes are great for post work-outs.
They have 15 grams of all natural whey protein.
The natural feature works because it doesnt have additives that irritate your system...
an important feature to note for those who work hard in the gym.
Amazon has been the most economical site for purchasing the Mix 1 line.
Grocery stores carry this also, but almost double what you can purchase it for on Amazon. |

| I bought these at a GNC nearby, and I love them! Like all protein drinks, there's a small aftertaste. It's not bad at all, especially compared to like a Muscle Milk shake made at home. The flavor, otherwise, is really great. It's a smooth drink with a very nice flavor. It's nice and gentle on my stomach, and really energized me and kept me full for a while. |
Mix Mango - Goof for on the go
|

The mix 1 Mango drink is shelf stable (does not need to be stored cold when unopened) which eases up on the refrigerator space.
The mix 1 Mango drink has a fresh clean taste with only a hint of grittiness but not off-putting. The flavor is distictively mango and does not taste chemical-ish.
I rate this 4 stars based on the grittiness. |
Just not my thing

I suppose I am just picky with energy/nutrition drinks. I didn't like the texture/thickness of this one. I have tried both the berry and now the mango, and both were'nt really my thing. I wasn't too fond of the flavour of eother.
I also found the size kind of small, I would've preferred a more "meal replacement" size. Because of the shelf life, it's a good thing to take on the go, but I prefer my drinks chilled and really cold. I would rather go for a more refreshing drink, but that being said, at around 2 bucks a bottle, the price isn't really so bad. And contents (all that protein and vitamins and minerals) IS pretty impressive. |
Not my thing but my 5 year old loved it!

| Chalky, milky tasting drinks with a touch of mango flavor are really not my forte so I can report that I did not care for this drink at all and I do love mango. That being said, my 5 year old absolutely loved it and drank almost the entire bottle within minutes, asking for more. As I said, it is a very chalking textured drink and I personally did not detect too much mango but hey it's one more thing my very picky eater enjoyed so it definately deserves the 3 stars I gave it! |
